Immersive Driving Simulator Tour

The Immersive Driving Simulator is part of the HumanFIRST program, which performs driver safety research as part of the Intelligent Transportation Systems Institute. They have researchers covering a full range of issues: alcohol, medication, in-vehicle technologies, automated vehicles, and roadway design. Our host's role in the program is to build simulator environments and to integrate (or virtualize) the new systems so the researchers (psychologists) can learn how they will affect human behavior.
